We are a Team of Hair|Makeup|Henna Artists, all in one, and we can provide services not only for the Bride but also the bridal party. Having 2 Artists will cut the time in half and accomodate other family members. Whether you want an easily manageable style that will keep you looking perfect from morning to midnight, or a classic look for a glamorous celebration, we will give you stunning results everytime! You want to look your best not only on your special day but in your photographs. These are photographs that will last a lifetime which you and your future generations will look back to. We will give you the distinguished look you wish to achieve, be it traditional, elegant, contemporary, classic or glamorous. We use the latest styles that make you look and feel your best and use techniques tailored to suite your face and hair type. WHAT PRODUCTS & ACCESSORIES DO I NEED?
Pins: A range of differenct sizes for pinning duppatta's and large pins for saree pleats.
Mascara: good idea to have your own, but we also carry it in our kits
Foundation: we highly recommend you bring your own foundation if you have skin allergies or personal preferences
Hair Extensions: we do not provide nor carry hair extensions, due to color and price. You can purchase them from Abantu | Sally Beauty Supply
Hair Accessories: please bring your own accessories as we do not know what outfit, jewelery etc. you will be wearing |
DO YOU OFFER A CONSULTATION & HOW MUCH DO YOU CHARGE?
Yes, we offer a 1.5 hour complimentary consultation for Brides, anything above will be charged. We highly recommend this consult to have an opportunity to meet and discuss the desired look for Makeup|Hair. For non-bridals we do not reccomend a consult, but if you must, there is a charge. WHAT USUALLY HAPPENS DURING A CONSULTATION?
This consultation is all about “YOU” and what you want. It’s your chance to share your ideas which are very crucial and will allow us to better understand exactly the look you desire and give you the best results. We will discuss the shadow | Lips | Blush colors, the look etc., confirm the times, venue, photography and other family members who may need our services. We will then start the wedding look on one eye and the reception on the other eye. We will briefly show you one Hair look (usually reception) to give you an idea. You are welcome to get a full look for an additional charge,

WHAT IS REQUIRED TO BOOK THE GIRLFRIENDZ?
A "Non Refundable" Deposit is required to secure and guarantee your date and time for the Event.
We can only confirm and book your dates once the deposit is given, we do not take nor confirm any bookings|dates over the phone. NO EXCEPTIONS. However, if you call and request a date we will hold the date for you for upto a week and will notify you before bookings with others.

WHAT MAKEUP BRANDS AND PRODUCTS DO YOU USE?
We only use professional, hypoallergenic, long lasting make-up products including, MAC (the colors, pigments and quality is awesome and goes well with all skin tones), Smashbox primers, Bobby Brown Black eye liner, Urban Decay primers & shadows & lipsticks, Cinema Secrets foundations | concealers, Ben-Nye, Kryolan foundation stick, Stella, makeup forever (amazing products), YSL, Benefit, Clarins skin care etc., Every brand has something amazing to offer so we don’t stick to only one. The key to great makeup application is good brushes. We only use good quality and top of the line brushes.

WILL MY MAKEUP LAST THE WHOLE DAY?
Yes! The professional makeup we use will last up to 12 hours. However, minor touch-ups such as lipstick, blush and gently blotting any shine from your face may be needed throughout the day. |
I DON’T WEAR MAKE-UP & DON’T WANT TO FEEL “MADE UP & CAKED ON”
You want to look beautiful in person as well as in your photos, but still want to look like yourself. We hear this all the time, we will work closely with you and your bridal party to ensure each individual's makeup application reflects their own style and look they want to achieve. All Brides want to look and feel beautiful on her wedding day. You don’t have to wear a lot of makeup in order to be beautiful, it just needs to be applied professionally using the right products.

WHO ELSE CAN RECEIVE YOUR SERVICES?
Your whole bridal party (bridesmaids, mom’s, aunts etc.). We have a team of experts that will accommodate as many people as possible. |
DO YOU PROVIDE SERVICES AT A LOCATION OF MY CHOICE?
All bridal services are offered on-location. On the day of your event, we travel to your requested location, so you can sit back, relax and leave the rest up to us. For non brides, we require minimum of 4 or more clients to come out, otherwise you are welcome to come to our studio, depending on availability of the Artists.

WHAT TIME DO YOU RECOMMEND TO START FOR THE WEDDING & RECEPTION?
The time can vary depending on your ethnic background and the services required. Most Indian weddings start early so we recommend starting at 5:00am (if Bride only). If you have other members which require our services, we will start earlier. Consult with your photographer on his arrival and the venue travel time. We will discuss and confirm the details during the consultation. Reception can also vary depending on if it is a same day reception or next. It’s best to communicate on the actual day and keep one another posted incase of any delays etc. |
WHAT IF MY BRIDAL PARTY IS GETTING READY IN 2 SEPARATE LOCATIONS?
Depending on the time each need to be ready we can try our best to accommodate the bride as well as the bridal party. |
WHAT ABOUT SANITATION? SHOULD I BE WORRIED?
A good makeup Artist’s kit will always be tidy and have the brushes sanitized and cleaned after every client. With us you will never have to worry about cross-contamination or exposure to diseases, as we only use clean and disposable tools (such as, mascara wands, lip brushes and sponges and sanitized brushes), so you can rest assure that after your makeup is done, it is immediately disposed of. As a guarantee of cleaniness our kits are thoroughly cleaned once a week with great sanitizing products..

HOW ABOUT THE MEHNDI?
As working artist with THE GIRFRIENDZ, I understand the uncompromising need for exceptional products. Mehndi by Dimple’s goal is to formulate perfect henna pastes which not only smell wonderful but most importantly, will give you the darkest stain possible using essential oils. Our Henna is especially and personally handmade fresh to get the perfect blend of color. It has NO chemicals or dye added and is completely safe for children too. |
WHAT ABOUT THE MEHNDI COLOR?
We only use 100% Natural organic Henna grown from India so the color of mehndi develops within an hour. It darkens within 48 hours (for best results just scrape the mehndi off and prevent touching water for as long as possible).
